...and now you don't!
What is left of our birch that was in the back yard.
Gage was a big help with limb demolition. We had a huge pile of limbs left from the removal service, so we had to break them all down and bag them. Gage was quite happy to wear his worker gloves and help out.
Nate tried helping too, but his little hands are not very good for breaking twigs. So he opted to look cute.
Jude wanted nothing to do with work. He managed to avoid all of it by playing at the other end of the yard.

Yet Another Zoo Trip
Next year we are going to get the annual family pass. I think if we had it, we'd be at the zoo all of the time.
This time we went with our friends and their boy, who is a little older than Nate & Jude. However, it was Gage who was glued to him. They held hands and ran all over the place, stomping in the puddles and running up and down the hills.
Thanx to Elizabeth for the pictures. She got some really great shots.
My absolute favorite! Notice how there's no stroller here? It was our first big outing without one. We brought the wagon instead and it went really well.

Mama at the Movies
For the first time in four years I went to a movie theatre. The last movie that I saw in a theatre was The Incredibles in December 2004, five days before Gage was born. So it was a BIG deal to go to see Sex & The City: The Movie on the big screen. I bought a new dress, I bought new pink shoes, gathered a friend (and some of her friends) and we went out. Two cosmopolitans (yes, I had to try it) later and I staggered over to the theatre. I laughed, I cried and I got to be a girl. It was a fantastic night!
